Osvaldo Porto is the Project Manager and PMO at the Angolan Space Program Management Office (GGPEN). He holds a degree in Electronics and Telecom Engineering from ISTM – Angola, and a master’s degree in aerospace project management from the “Grandes Écoles de France”, ISAE-SUPAERO, ENAC, and École de L’Air et Space.
As a professional he started his space journey in satellite operations, playing the role of Flight Planning Specialist and Shift Flight Manager for conducting space operations on satellites ANGOSAT –1 and ANGOSAT-2.
Osvaldo is certified in Designing Payloads for GEO Satcom and in AIT by the Airbus Academy – Toulouse, France, and certified in Designing Space Missions for small satellites by Nihon University – Tokyo, Japan. He is also certified by the Russian Space Agency ROSCOSMOS in satellite operations.
Having worked as a team coordinator since 2016, Osvaldo has provided support to a variety of projects managed by the Angolan Space Program Management Office.
